Kitzingen Air Show 2026
From September 11 to 13, 2026, the Kitzingen Airfield (EDGY) will be transformed into a stage unlike anything Mainfranken has ever seen.
Three days, one promise: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow—all on a single runway.
The legendary Harvard AT6 “Miss Las Vegas,” powered by a 600 PS, nine-cylinder Pratt & Whitney engine, will thunder across the grounds as a living piece of aviation history. Glider aerobatics just like in the old days. At the same time, modern electric aircraft will quietly and precisely demonstrate what the future of aviation looks like. There’s hardly any other place where you can experience this arc—from the pioneering era to the transition to electric propulsion—so directly.
The program is complemented by festival activities with a carnival-like atmosphere, live music on Saturday evening, and hot air balloons glowing against the evening sky.
The festive setting is provided by an extraordinary location: the historic aircraft hangar, over 100 years old—reborn after months of meticulous restoration and reimagined with a modern design—will be officially inaugurated during the air show.
