Mari Froes @ Rudas Studios
Mari Froes is a Brazilian singer-songwriter with a distinctive musical style. Her songs move sensitively and naturally through Brazilian soundscapes such as MPB, bossa nova, samba and jazz – carried by a warm voice and great narrative clarity. Mari Froes first gained international recognition through her YouTube channel, where she posted her own interpretations and achieved more than 100 million views. With viral successes on TikTok and collaborations such as ‘Vaitimbora’ with the French duo Trinix, she moved into the international spotlight (114 million streams on Spotify). On tour, she presents songs from her current album as well as from earlier releases – and sees her concerts as voyages of discovery: personal, intimate and at the same time open to new encounters. Mari Froes represents a young, self-confident generation of Brazilian music that does not preserve tradition, but carries it forward. More information here!(opens in a new tab)

Lovebird Festival
Various music genres are presented and other art forms are integrated. Jazz is at the heart of the program, but it does not dominate; instead, it serves as the foundation for a wide range of new sonic combinations: jazz and hip-hop, jazz and electronic music, as well as indie, funk, and soul. The aim is to create a festival from an expanded musical offering and additional creative spaces that functions as a harmonious Gesamtkunstwerk, encouraging participation, listening, observing, and reflection. In short: a festival for the senses. The non-music program includes: a film screening at the Cinema arthouse cinema, a karaoke talk with Musikalisches Poesiealbum, a panel discussion, and a music and bird-themed city tour.
