PLAUSH. is the solo project of singer-songwriter Jan Plausteiner, who began writing his own songs at the age of 17 as an outlet for heartbreak and melancholy.
His catchy tunes have been a hit at festivals, open-air events and clubs, and he has eight song slam victories and support shows for well-known acts to his name.
He brings his stories to life live with vocals and guitar, expanding his sound into multi-layered soundscapes with the help of a loop station, stomp box, laptop and harmoniser.

Lovebird Festival
Various music genres are presented and other art forms are integrated. Jazz is at the heart of the program, but it does not dominate; instead, it serves as the foundation for a wide range of new sonic combinations: jazz and hip-hop, jazz and electronic music, as well as indie, funk, and soul. The aim is to create a festival from an expanded musical offering and additional creative spaces that functions as a harmonious Gesamtkunstwerk, encouraging participation, listening, observing, and reflection. In short: a festival for the senses. The non-music program includes: a film screening at the Cinema arthouse cinema, a karaoke talk with Musikalisches Poesiealbum, a panel discussion, and a music and bird-themed city tour.
