On Sunday, June 8 at 13:00 we cordially invite you to a birdwalk in the Hofgarten — surrounded by greenery, with musical love in the air.

🔎 Victoria Adam, vet specializing in bird medicine — our charming “Vogeldoc”
🦉 Marius Sturm-Kehren, area manager for WildV.gel at the Düsseldorf animal shelter — expert of our winged friendsT
ogether, they will take you on a fine expedition to the feathered inhabitants of the Hofgarten — from sweet lovebirds to slanting beaks.
👶 The walk is also great for children!
🕐 Duration: approx. 90 minutes — with time for questions afterwards

Our children's program starts at 15:00 in the Hofgarten at the Musikpavillon:
Oliver Steller — the master of word music — enchants children aged 4 and up with poems, stories & lots of feelings. A celebration for imagination and family hearts!

Lovebird Festival
Various music genres are presented and other art forms are integrated. Jazz is at the heart of the program, but it does not dominate; instead, it serves as the foundation for a wide range of new sonic combinations: jazz and hip-hop, jazz and electronic music, as well as indie, funk, and soul. The aim is to create a festival from an expanded musical offering and additional creative spaces that functions as a harmonious Gesamtkunstwerk, encouraging participation, listening, observing, and reflection. In short: a festival for the senses. The non-music program includes: a film screening at the Cinema arthouse cinema, a karaoke talk with Musikalisches Poesiealbum, a panel discussion, and a music and bird-themed city tour.
